About Us

Stayin' at Sanibel's is a small, family-oriented pet care business offering dog boarding, daycare, and daily walks. We are located in the Trinity Bellwoods neighbourhood of downtown Toronto. We welcomed our first canine guests in December 2011 and have been enjoying the love and companionship of many, many dogs ever since.
For our boarding and daycare programs, we provide a safe, comfortable, and healthy environment for your dog(s) during their stay with us. Our goal is to give you peace of mind, so that you can enjoy your holiday, stay focused while away on business or when working extra long days. We strive to provide your dog with a “home away from home”.
Dogs staying in our home have full run of our bright and open main floor. The dogs are free to relax where they are comfortable. There is direct access to a spacious and fully fenced backyard via a deck. The wide deck has only a half step down to the ground, which makes it easy to navigate for elderly dogs and dogs with mobility issues.
While your dog is staying with us we guarantee that your dog will receive lots of appropriate play and exercise, meals and medication per instruction, and plenty of love and attention. Typically, dogs are dropped off and picked up at our home, but a Pet Taxi can be arranged for an additional fee.
Dogs in our daily walks program are picked up and dropped off at their homes and visit a range of local parks and outdoor spaces. Off leash group walks are scheduled so that dogs experience a variety of natural outdoor environments and exercise types (ball play, trail walks, park play, and swims) during their weekly runs. Solo, small group leash walks, and puppy visits can also be scheduled. 
Health and wellness is a priority as is the impact of daily weather conditions and temperatures.  We are licensed, insured, and first aid certified.
